File Analysis
Backup Set Inventory Receipt
Summarize selected backup file count, total bytes, zero-byte members and extension distribution in a deterministic read-only receipt.
Game save workbench / Tool directory
Browse SaveEditor.com by job, platform, processing mode, or verified support state. The directory separates working tools from in-development records and does not promote planned tools as available.
01 / Browse by job
These stable category pages are the clean discovery paths. Use filters below for temporary combinations such as platform plus processing mode.
02 / Tool catalog
Every result carries its support state and processing mode. Read each tool page for exact file, platform, and version compatibility.
File Analysis
Summarize selected backup file count, total bytes, zero-byte members and extension distribution in a deterministic read-only receipt.
Hex & Binary Tools
Use the existing verified CRC-16/CCITT-FALSE implementation to calculate the digest over only an explicit user-selected byte range, with an optional exact expected-digest comparison and no repair authority.
File Analysis
Create an order-independent SHA-256 identity over selected file byte lengths and content digests without treating filenames as content identity.
Hex & Binary Tools
Use the existing verified Adler-32 implementation to calculate the digest over only an explicit user-selected byte range, with an optional exact expected-digest comparison and no repair authority.
File Analysis
Create a SHA-256 receipt over exact selected relative names/paths and byte lengths without claiming file contents match.
Emulator & Retro Tools
Append an existing same-type 16-byte mGBA RTC trailer to an explicitly selected raw Flash 64 KiB save, using a validated template and preserving the raw source exactly.
Hex & Binary Tools
Use the existing verified MD5 implementation to calculate the digest over only an explicit user-selected byte range, with an optional exact expected-digest comparison and no repair authority.
File Analysis
List zero-byte members in the explicitly selected local backup set without deleting or repairing them.
Emulator & Retro Tools
Strip only an already-present 16-byte mGBA RTC trailer from an explicitly selected Flash 128 KiB battery-save representation and prove byte-identical source reconstruction.
Hex & Binary Tools
Use the existing verified SHA-256 implementation to calculate the digest over only an explicit user-selected byte range, with an optional exact expected-digest comparison and no repair authority.
File Analysis
Identify selected relative paths that collide under a case-folded comparison, without renaming files or predicting target-filesystem behavior.
Emulator & Retro Tools
Append an existing same-type 16-byte mGBA RTC trailer to an explicitly selected raw Flash 128 KiB save, using a validated template and preserving the raw source exactly.
Hex & Binary Tools
Use the existing verified CRC-32/ISO-HDLC implementation to calculate the whole-file digest after zeroing only an explicit user-selected range in a temporary analysis copy, with an optional exact expected-digest comparison and no repair authority.
File Analysis
Group selected files that share both byte length and SHA-256 content digest as exact-content duplicate evidence.
Hex & Binary Tools
Calculate CRC-32/ISO-HDLC over the exact bytes of one local file, optionally compare an expected digest, and export a deterministic read-only integrity receipt without inferring file validity.
Hex & Binary Tools
Use the existing verified CRC-16/CCITT-FALSE implementation to calculate the whole-file digest after zeroing only an explicit user-selected range in a temporary analysis copy, with an optional exact expected-digest comparison and no repair authority.
Hex & Binary Tools
Calculate CRC-16/ARC over the exact bytes of one local file, optionally compare an expected digest, and export a deterministic read-only integrity receipt without inferring file validity.
Hex & Binary Tools
Use the existing verified Adler-32 implementation to calculate the whole-file digest after zeroing only an explicit user-selected range in a temporary analysis copy, with an optional exact expected-digest comparison and no repair authority.
03 / Read the status first
Game save formats can change between platforms, game versions, storefronts, or updates. A SaveEditor.com tool page should state the input format it accepts, supported versions where known, its processing mode, limitations, and the date its support was last verified.
Verified means the tool has reached the project's supported state. In development means the record may be useful for documentation or progress visibility, but the interface must not be presented as finished. Planned and deprecated records stay out of the normal directory.
