What this analysis tool does
Measure generic binary properties of a local save or data file, including header bytes, known magic signature, entropy, byte distribution, and sample ASCII strings.
Input and analysis contract
Files are limited to 8 MiB. The analyzer combines the same deterministic signature, entropy, and string primitives used by the dedicated Phase 18 tools. File size, extension, header classification, entropy statistics, byte-distribution measurements, header hex, observations, and bounded sample strings.
Important interpretation limits
The generic analyzer does not prove that a save is valid, corrupted, compressed, encrypted, editable, or repairable. Those conclusions require format-specific evidence.
SaveEditor.com performs this Phase 18 analysis locally in the browser. Generic binary measurements are kept separate from game-specific claims: the tool reports observable bytes and statistics, but does not invent a save-format interpretation.
