This recovery addresses only a one-byte defect in the fixed MadCatz GameShark GCS wrapper signature. SaveEditor first requires exact GCS wrapper geometry, then requires exactly one mismatch against GCSAVE, restores that single byte in a copy, and authorizes output only if the existing strict GameCube single-save parser accepts the complete reconstructed wrapper and payload geometry.

Phase 52 reads only the explicitly selected local file in the browser. The nintendo-recovery-v1 runtime contains no fetch, XMLHttpRequest, WebSocket, sendBeacon, form upload, server-side save processing, or telemetry path. The permanent 16 MiB per-file ceiling remains in force and the selected source is never modified.
