What MS-DOS Date/Time Converter does
Encode or decode the packed 16-bit MS-DOS date and time fields used by formats such as ZIP.
Input and output contract
Uses UTC input/output for deterministic inspection and enforces the representable 1980-2107 year range. Seconds are stored in two-second units. Packed date/time hexadecimal fields or an ISO UTC timestamp.
Important limitations
On-disk DOS timestamps may have local-time semantics in their original application. The Tool does not infer timezone.
Safety
This Phase 44 Tool runs locally in the browser with explicit input bounds. It does not infer game compatibility or repair unsupported formats.
