SHA-256 binds selected bytes, paths, declarations and chain links, but no surface proves legal chain of custody, creator identity, account ownership, authenticity, trusted timestamp, remote/cloud origin, real-world chronology, platform compatibility or semantic save validity. No digital signature, certificate, private key, remote registry, account access, upload, restore or file mutation is performed.

Safe interpretation

Use these receipts to preserve deterministic local evidence and comparison history. A hash-bound label records exactly what was declared; it does not independently establish the identity of the declarant, a trusted timestamp, remote source, ownership, or legal custody.

Selected files and JSON receipts/chains are processed only in browser memory. Phase 75 performs no remote lookup, upload, account login, cloud access, signing service call, key generation, certificate lookup or network custody registry operation.

Rejected input is a validation signal.

The converter fails closed on invalid digits, malformed byte sequences, ambiguous date input, unsupported widths, and values beyond documented bounds.

Wrong syntax

Confirm the selected base, encoding, byte grouping, or numeric form matches the documented input contract.

Out of bounds

Reduce the input size or choose a supported bit width instead of relying on implicit truncation.

Ambiguous interpretation

Specify the intended width, precision, or timezone explicitly when those details change the result.

A failed receipt/chain check means only that the selected bytes, canonical evidence rows, self-declared annotation, chain link, or current chain-head binding differs. Re-select the exact local evidence and original receipt/chain; do not infer who created, owned, transferred, or hosted the save.
